What Tower Pilates actually is

Tower classes use a vertical spring frame, either wall mounted or attached to a Reformer, giving overhead and standing spring work that a Reformer alone cannot. Studios often run Tower as an intermediate option once clients are comfortable on the Reformer.

  • Overhead and standing spring work
  • Small class sizes
  • Strong shoulder and upper back focus

What Tower Pilates costs

$30-$50 per class is the national range. Below is what studios on this site actually charge, and when we last checked.

Full price guide

Not enough studios have published a tower pilates price for us to show a city range yet. A single studio's price is not a range, so we are not going to print one. $30-$50 per class is the national guide.

How Tower Pilates compares

Ranges are national guides for each style, not one studio's price.

Tower Pilates questions

What is a Tower, and how is it different from a Reformer?

A frame of springs, either mounted on a wall or built onto the end of a Reformer, with a push through bar and hanging springs. The work is vertical and nothing slides, so you hold your position rather than being carried by a moving carriage.

Is Tower harder than Reformer?

Generally yes, which is why most timetables mark it intermediate. Without the carriage doing part of the job, your own stability is the only thing keeping the shape.

Do I need Reformer experience first?

Most studios ask for a handful of classes before a Tower only session. If yours runs a Reformer and Tower combination class, that is the easier way in, because half the hour is on ground you already know.

Why compare Tower Pilates here

  • Prices carry a date

Every price on this page shows when a person last checked it. Stale is stated, never hidden.

  • Verification is four states

Listed, claimed, verified and enhanced. We never blur them into one green tick.

  • Equipment aware

Class size is capped by machine count, which is why the apparatus in the room is listed, not just the class name.

  • Position is never sold

Order is verification, freshness and rating. No studio can buy its way up this list.
