View all FAQsDoes Peak Fitness and Rehab publish class prices?
No rates appear on peakfitnesspalmcoast.com, so call (386) 445-2348 for the self-pay figure. They take most major insurance plans including Medicare, so what you pay depends on the service.
How long is a session in Palm Coast?
Most sessions last 55-60 minutes. Book with that in mind if you are fitting one around work, because the doors close at 5pm from Monday to Thursday.
Is this a Pilates studio or a physical therapy clinic?
Both, under one roof in Palm Coast. Peak Fitness & Rehab covers Pilates, personal training, physical therapy and golf fitness, and the Pilates side runs private, semi-private and group reformer classes.
What apparatus will I actually be on?
Reformer, Tower and Cadillac, plus mat work, all made by Balanced Body. The studio calls itself the only fully equipped Pilates studio in Flagler County, which is their claim, not ours.
Who teaches at Peak Fitness and Rehab?
Desiree M. Challice is a Doctor of Physical Therapy, a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and a Certified Pilates Instructor for mat, equipment and circuit. Dave Challice is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, a Certified Personal Trainer and a Titleist Performance Institute Fitness Pro, which is where the golf fitness comes from. That is an unusual pair of credentials for a small Palm Coast studio, so ask which one takes the class you want.
Do I need a referral before my first appointment?
In most cases no, though some plans such as Medicare may ask for one. Bring photo ID, your insurance card, any prescription, and clothes you can move in.
Can I come in on a Saturday?
No. Saturday and Sunday are both closed, and Friday is a half day that stops at 12pm.
How do I get on the schedule?
Call (386) 445-2348 or use the contact form. Classes are also booked at peakfitnesspalmcoast.com/schedule, and the address is 19 Old Kings Rd N Ste C107 in Palm Coast.
