Perfect Powerhouse Pilates opened in Merritt Island in 2020, started by Terry Shepherd, a Doctor of Physical Therapy with a PhD in Health Sciences who is also comprehensively certified in classical Pilates through Peak Pilates. Two other instructors teach alongside her, one certified through Balanced Body and the American Council on Exercise, the other a certified personal trainer who covers the beginner Pilates classes.
The apparatus list runs longer than the studio's size suggests: reformer, tower, chair, Cadillac, a ladder barrel and smaller barrels, plus mats and a barre. Group classes rotate between mat, barre, tower work and a cardio format built on the reformer, and every group format costs the same, so barre is priced identically to mat.
Two things to know before booking. A first class is $15 and the studio calls it once in a lifetime, meaning one per person rather than one a year. After that a group drop in is $35 unless you are on a monthly contract, privates start at $125 for a single session, and the booking window is tight at twelve hours to book and twelve hours to cancel. Miss the cancellation window and the pass is gone.
Physical therapy, medical massage, Class IV laser and vagal nerve stimulation are also run from the same address. They are clinical services, booked and priced separately, and no class pass covers them.
These are the styles this studio teaches, not its full timetable. A studio often runs several named classes inside one style. Typical drop in ranges are national bands, and this studio's own prices are below.

A group class is $35 as a drop in if you are not on a monthly contract, and every group format is priced the same, so barre costs what mat costs. Ten group classes with no contract is $270, valid for three months from your first visit. A single private session is $125, falling to about $70 a session if you buy the block of twenty.
