Frequently Asked Questions
View all FAQsHow good is the rating?
4.9 from 57 reviews, one of the better combinations of average and sample size in the BODYBAR network on this site.
Are the hours listed?
No, this listing carries no opening times. Ring (813) 345-4742 or check the chain schedule before planning a visit.
Where is the studio?
10437 Gibsonton Drive in Riverview, south east of Tampa and off the main route through town.
What is Precision?
The classic reformer class, and the one the chain points every newcomer to. It works on full body strength and form at a pace that lets an instructor correct you.
Is footwear required?
No. Grip socks are required for every class at the Gibsonton Drive studio, and reception stocks them, so turning up without a pair costs money rather than the session.
How much of a workout is reformer Pilates really?
More than it looks from the doorway. The carriage moves under spring load, so the effort is constant rather than delivered in reps, and the small stabilising muscles give out well before the big ones do. People who lift regularly are often surprised by how hard a slow class is. What it does not do is pound your joints, which is why it holds people who cannot run any more.
How far ahead should I get there?
Fifteen minutes for a first class, less once you know the machine.
