View all FAQsIs 714 Yale St the Heights Mercantile studio?
Yes, Suite 4A on Yale St is the Heights Mercantile site. The Studio BE also runs River Oaks and Montrose, and passes work at all of them.
Does the $88 new client offer beat paying per class?
Yes, if you use it. The $88 offer covers 4 classes at any style and any location, BE REFORMER included, against $38 for a single class, so the saving is real. The catch is the clock: it expires 30 days from first use, not from purchase. There is also a $158 new client option for unlimited mat and reformer, and that one expires 30 days from the purchase date instead.
How does parking work at the Yale Street site?
Heights Mercantile runs a paid lot: scan the QR code, open an account, add a card. Validation covers 90 minutes. Montrose has a garage and valet on the same validation, and River Oaks has a lot out front.
Why does Saturday start later than the rest of the week?
Saturday opens at 8:30am, everything else including Sunday opens at 6:30am, and the close is 7:30pm every day.
What do the BE class names mean?
BE FLOW is alignment based vinyasa, BE ZEN is yin, BE AERIAL uses a hammock, BE REFORMER is reformer Pilates, BE SCULPTED is mat Pilates with a sculpt edge, and BE STRENGTH is progressive weight training. Sizes top out at 22 participants, depending on style.
What do I have to bring for BE Sculpted or a reformer class?
Gripped socks, which Reformer, Aerial and Sculpted all call for, and they are sold on site if you forget. Mats are laid out for Sculpted, while other styles want your own mat or a $5 rental.
What is the Wellness Room, and which membership includes it?
Sauna and cold plunge. The Platinum Unlimited Monthly at $258 covers unlimited mat and reformer everywhere, 2 sessions in that room each month, 3 guest passes and 20% off retail. The yearly unlimited at $2,648 carries 5 one-hour sessions instead. Below those, 4 classes monthly is $118 and 8 classes monthly is $208.
Is this a heated studio?
No. Rooms sit at about 75 degrees Fahrenheit, so The Studio BE runs unheated.
