Frequently Asked Questions

View all FAQs
Is this Pilates?

A contemporary evolution of Pilates and barre, in the studio's own words, rather than either one on its own. The classes are core centric and built on control, alignment and deep muscular work rather than the classical repertoire.

What are the class styles?

Six. The Silhouette is the signature barre inspired sculpt set to deep house. Slow Sculpt fuses Pilates with athletic flow. Power Dance Cardio uses simple choreography with low impact strength work. Fire Abs Reset is core focused. Barre Elevated is a beat driven take on traditional barre.

What props are used?

Pilates balls, ankle weights, and gliders or socks depending on the class. Mats, props, towels and toiletries are all provided.

What is the first class price?

$40 for new members in studio, against a $42 standard drop in. A new member three class pack is $89 rather than $99, and there is a free livestream class as an introduction.

How much is a membership?

$160 a month for four classes, $220 for six and $398 for unlimited. Packs run $99 for three, $195 for five and $355 for ten.

How early can I train?

5:30am Monday through Friday, closing at 8pm. Both weekend days run 7am to 2pm.

Are there lockers?

Yes, on the second floor at 857 Broadway in Gramercy, with towels and toiletries provided too.

What does the sound do?

It drives the tempo rather than sitting behind it. The Silhouette class is set to deep house and Barre Elevated is beat based, so you are moving to the music rather than counting reps against it. If that is not how you like to train, this is worth knowing before you book.
