About The Megaformer Studio

The Megaformer Studio in Los Angeles teaches Lagree on the Megaformer, and is direct that this is not Pilates and the Megaformer is not a reformer. Classes are built on resistance, alignment and time under tension. Waitlist spots are given away at the start of class, and leaving the waitlist inside 12 hours carries a penalty. Children under 16 cannot be left in the studio, so arrange care separately. Grip socks are sold on site.

  • Beginner friendly, all levels welcome
  • Private and one to one sessions available

Frequently Asked Questions

View all FAQs
Who is behind The Megaformer Studio?

Sebastien Lagree, who invented the Megaformer machine and co-founded the studio to run classes on it. The machines here are the latest M3K+ Megaformer models.

Is $38 the going rate for a single Lagree class here?

That is the drop-in rate. A 4 class monthly membership is $129 and an 8 class one is $219, each on a 3 month commitment.

Which unlimited plan is cheaper at The Megaformer Studio?

The 6 month commitment, at $275 a month against $355 for the 1 month version. The longer tie-in is cheaper every month, but only if you actually train through all 6 months, and the shorter plan exists for people who cannot promise that. Set either against the $38 drop-in rate and unlimited pays off once you are in the room most weekdays.

Is there an intro offer for a first Lagree class?

Yes, a first 2 weeks of unlimited Megaformer offer, though no price is published for it. Bookings run through the website or app, and ClassPass reservations are cancelled inside ClassPass.

How long is a class and how early should I get there?

Classes run 45-50 minutes. New clients are asked to arrive 10-15 minutes early for a machine and method introduction, and latecomers on a first visit are turned away.

Why are grip socks compulsory here?

Safety and sanitary reasons. Buy a pair at the studio or bring your own.

What is the Friday timetable like?

Friday is the short day: 8am to 12pm, then back for an afternoon block that ends at 6:30pm. Other weekdays open at 7:15am and close at 7:30pm with the same midday gap, and Saturday and Sunday both end at 1pm.

Is parking free here?

Free parking is offered at this address, in an underground garage at the Beverly Grove site. Showers, lockers, a water station and childcare are available too.
