Frequently Asked Questions
View all FAQsWhat intro deals does SOLOS Goodland offer new clients?
Two new-client deals. The 2 classes for $25 offer must be used within 2 weeks, and $99 buys 2 weeks of unlimited classes. Take the $25 pair to try the XFormers, and the $99 option only if you can get to Hollister Ave most days.
Is a pack or an auto-renew membership better value at SOLOS in Santa Barbara?
Class packs at SOLOS Goodland run 5 for $189, 10 for $339, 20 for $599 and 30 for $769. Auto-renew memberships reset every 28 days: 4 classes for $139, 8 classes for $229, 12 classes for $279, 20 classes for $349 and 25 classes for $374. The biggest memberships work out cheaper per class than even the largest pack, so ask whether unused classes roll over before you sign up.
Can I walk in at the Hollister Avenue studio without a reservation?
Check in with the instructor, and if a spot is free you can join at the $40 drop-in rate. New clients must arrive 10 minutes before class to download the SOLOS app and sign the waiver. Do not rely on the $25-$319 range quoted on the site, since the larger packs go well past it.
Why is SOLOS Goodland shut in the early afternoon?
It opens in two blocks from Monday to Thursday, a morning one and an evening one, with evenings finishing at 6pm on Monday and Wednesday and at 7pm on Tuesday and Thursday. SOLOS Goodland keeps Friday to mornings, closing at 12:30pm, and both weekend days wrap up by 11:30am.
Can two people split a private session at SOLOS Goodland?
Yes. A private session costs $99 for up to 2 people, and each additional person adds $40 on top.
Can I keep taking SOLOS classes through a pregnancy?
Only with your doctor's go-ahead first. SOLOS says many clients have continued through pregnancy with a few modifications, and after the birth it asks that you are medically cleared for fitness again before coming back to the Goodland reformers.
Is there a student rate for UCSB or SBCC?
Yes, the Goodland studio has 8-pack and 12-pack auto-renew options for SBCC and UCSB students.
Is SOLOS Goodland in Santa Barbara or Goleta?
Both names get used. The address is 5124 Hollister Ave, Santa Barbara, CA 93111, in Magnolia Center, and SOLOS also calls it its Goleta location. From Highway 101, take the Turnpike Road exit northbound or Patterson Avenue southbound, and parking there is free.
