Frequently Asked Questions
View all FAQsWhat's the difference between the XFormer and a regular reformer?
The XFormer is a modern evolution of the classic reformer with a longer moving carriage and spring-loaded resistance, making classes more athletic and higher-intensity while staying low-impact. That's why they call it Modern Pilates.
Is this like Lagree or Megaformer?
If you enjoy Lagree or megaformer-style classes, you'll feel at home. But Remix is not a Lagree studio; they practice Modern Pilates on the XFormer, though the feel is similar: slow, controlled, high-intensity, and low-impact.
Do you offer mat Pilates?
No, Remix is an XFormer-only studio. Every class is taught on the XFormer, so you get the full benefit of resistance-based training in each session.
What are the intro offers and what do they cost?
New clients can start with a Single Class for $39, Two Weeks Unlimited for $79, or a 3-Class Package for $59. After that, monthly memberships run from $109 to $279.
How much is a drop-in class and is it worth it?
A single class is $39. If you're new, the Two Weeks Unlimited for $79 is a much better deal if you plan to come more than twice.
What are the membership tiers and how do they work?
Memberships range from $109 to $279 a month. Options include 4 classes/month for $109, 8 classes/month for $199, and unlimited for $279. They bill monthly, auto-renew, and you can change tiers anytime with 30 days' notice.
