View all FAQsHow do I actually book a class here?
You book through their Mindbody platform at clients.mindbodyonline.com/classic/ws. Their site also links to it. First-timers should arrive 15 minutes early to fill out an intake form and get familiar with the equipment.
Is there an intro offer for new clients?
Yes, there is an Introductory Special for $33. Also, first-time clients can get a free introductory private or semi-private session, so that might be the better deal if you want one-on-one attention.
Do I need grip socks, or can I buy them there?
Grip socks are required for mat and Xercizer (reformer) classes. They sell them at the studio, so you can just pick up a pair before class if you don't have your own.
What's the difference between IM=X Pilates and regular Pilates?
IM=X incorporates strength-training and cardio elements, uses exercise science research and the Alexander Technique, and has increased resistance. The mat program is more athletic with weighted body bars and higher reps. It's not your traditional slow-paced Pilates.
What equipment do they have?
They have Reformers, Towers, and mats. They also provide rings, handles, foot loops, and weights, so you don't need to bring your own gear, but you can if you prefer.
What's the cancellation policy?
There's a 2-hour cancellation window for classes, and a $15 no-show fee may apply. For Elite Core memberships, you need 30 days notice via email to sam@imxpilates.com, and there's a $250 fee if you cancel immediately without a medical note.
Can I freeze my membership if I go on vacation?
Yes, you can freeze for a minimum of two weeks and up to four weeks every three months. It costs $10, but that fee is waived with a medical note.
What are the membership prices?
Unlimited is $249 a month. The 3-month membership is billed at $65 per week, and a 3-month limited one (2 classes a week) is $55 per week, so the $65 figure is a weekly rate, not a monthly one. If you want to buy sessions, a single is $60, 10 are $399, and 20 are $600.
Is there a teacher training program?
Yes, the studio runs a teacher training programme. If you're interested in teaching IM=X Pilates, that's something they offer.
