Frequently Asked Questions

View all FAQs
I saw the booking link goes to Momence. Do I have to make an account there, or can I just call the studio?

All classes are booked through the Momence link on their website, and they say reservations cannot be made over text or phone. So yes, you will need to use the online system, which means creating an account there if you do not have one.

What does a single class set me back, and is there a cheaper way to try it out?

A single class is $46. If you are new, they also offer a 3-class pack, and you can book a private session with a certified instructor for $99 or with a resident instructor (teacher in training) for $75. If you have never used a Reformer, the private with the resident instructor is a good deal to get personalized attention without the full price.

I keep reading that grip socks are required. Do they sell them at the studio, or should I bring my own?

Grip socks are required, and yes, they sell them at the studio if you forget or do not have a pair. So you can just show up and buy a pair there, though bringing your own is fine too.

If I need to cancel a class, how much notice do they want, and what happens if I just do not show up?

They need at least 12 hours' notice for group reformer classes and 24 hours for private sessions. Morning classes before 10:00 AM must be canceled by 7:00 PM the night before. If you cancel late, you lose the class credit. If you no-show, you lose the credit and get charged a $20 fee, but that fee only kicks in after your second no-show.

I am new and want to try a class. Is there a special offer for first-timers, or is it just the drop-in rate?

They do not advertise a free first class, but new clients can buy a 3-class pack, which is a better deal than paying per class. They also offer private sessions at a reduced rate for new clients: $99 with a certified instructor or $75 with a resident instructor. So you have options to try it out without committing to a full membership.

I see they have Reformer, Cadillac, Chair, Springboard, and Mat listed. In a typical group class, which equipment am I actually going to use?

The studio is primarily a reformer studio, so most group classes will be on the Reformer. The other equipment like the Cadillac, Chair, and Springboard are likely used in private sessions or more specialized classes, but the core offering is reformer-based.

What does a membership cost per month, and what does it get me?

Memberships start at $157 a month. The site does not break down what that includes beyond access to classes, so you would need to ask them directly for the full details.
