About Coastal Movement
Coastal Movement is a mat led Pilates practice in Monterey, using minimal equipment and low impact work to build strength, flexibility and muscle tone. The emphasis is on grounded movement and feeling the floor through the mat rather than loading up with apparatus, though reformer work is available too. Group classes and private sessions both run. The method was put together with Monterey Bay as its reference point.
