View all FAQsIs the $100 monthly unlimited better value than the 10 class pass?
They are both $100, so it turns on how often you show up. A single drop in is $12, so the 10 class pass barely undercuts paying as you go. Monthly unlimited costs the same and stops counting, which makes it the better buy for anyone practicing twice a week or more. No expiry is published on the pass, so ask before buying.
Do I have to register before an in studio class?
Not for a class in the studio, where no registration is required and you can just turn up. Online classes are the exception: those need registration through panamacityyoga.com beforehand.
Why does Saturday start earlier than the rest of the week?
Saturday opens at 9am, an hour before the rest of the week, which all starts at 10am including Sunday. Closing is 7pm every day.
What gear should I bring to Cove Yoga?
Your own mat, towel, blocks and strap: students are asked to bring all their own yoga gear. Weights and a resistance band are recommended, cleaned and disinfected after every class.
Can a complete beginner walk into Intermediate Iyengar?
No. Intermediate Iyengar asks for one year of yoga experience and works on inversions. Beginner Yoga covers the fundamentals with modifications, and All Levels Yoga adapts as instructors modify poses.
Which Cove Yoga class is built around the back?
Back Care Yoga, which Cove Yoga describes as strengthening and stretching the back. Gentle Yoga is the slower option, with instructors giving individual help and modifications. Neither is treatment, so talk to your own clinician about anything ongoing.
Is the Pilates at Cove Yoga done on a mat?
Mat based. A mat is the only equipment on the profile and the site describes mat Pilates, run beside the yoga schedule. Aerial Yoga is the exception, using hammocks for inversions.
How long has Cove Yoga been in Panama City?
Cove Yoga opened in early 2020. Instructors here have taught in Panama City for over 20 years.
