About Coastal Core Pilates - Mat Studio
Coastal Core runs two studios in South Oceanside, one for reformer and one for mat, each with its own class style. Core 1 is the beginner reformer class and Core 2 is intermediate to advanced, with a plain request not to book Core 2 if you have never used a reformer. Mats can be rented and grip socks are sold. The studio also runs teacher training. New clients can take two weeks unlimited for $99.

Do I bring a mat or use one there?
You are encouraged to, for comfort and hygiene. If you do not have one, mats rent for $3 a class. Everything else is provided.
What is the intro offer worth?
Two options, and they are not equivalent. 2 classes for $32 expire 25 days after purchase. 2 weeks unlimited appears as $69 in one place and $99 in another, so confirm the figure before paying.
What is the difference between Coastal Flow and Core Strength?
Coastal Flow is mat Pilates with breathwork, core focused sequences and fluid transitions. Core Strength is the dynamic one, mixing Pilates principles with strength training.
What happens if I cancel late or miss a class?
$15 if you cancel inside 12 hours of the start time, and $20 for a no show. Both are charged rather than threatened.
How late can I turn up?
You can join up to 5 minutes after the start, though 5 minutes early is what the studio actually recommends.
Is there parking at the studio?
Designated spaces sit in front of the studio, with street parking on S Coast Hwy if the lot is full. Leave a few minutes for it.
When is the Mat Studio actually open?
The week is lopsided. Monday runs 6am to 8pm and Wednesday 7am to 8pm, which are the long days. Tuesday goes 6:30am to 8:30pm, and Thursday closes earlier at 7:30pm. Friday is a morning only, finishing at 10am. Saturday ends at 11:30am and Sunday is a short window closing at 10am.
