Frequently Asked Questions

View all FAQs
Why does Tuesday start two hours later?

Tuesday opens at 8am while Monday, Wednesday and Thursday all open at 6am. If a 6am class is the reason you joined, Tuesday is the day that breaks the pattern.

How late can I train?

8pm Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Thursday closes an hour earlier at 7pm, and Friday finishes mid afternoon at 3pm.

Are weekends worth planning around?

Saturday runs 7am to 1pm and Sunday 9am to 1pm, so the weekend is six hours plus four. Fine for one class each day, thin if you want a choice of times.

How is the Osprey studio rated?

4.9 from 37 reviews on South Tamiami Trail. A good average, on a sample small enough to be worth reading rather than trusting outright.

What equipment will I be on?

The reformer mainly, with the Tower, Chair and a mat appearing depending on the format booked.

Is this the right studio if I have never done Pilates?

Yes, provided you book Precision first and arrive fifteen minutes early. Reformer work looks intimidating from outside because the machine is unfamiliar, not because the movements are hard. The springs do a large part of the job, and a first class is mostly learning where your feet and hands go. What catches people out is footwear, since grip socks are required and bare feet are not allowed.

Which building is it in?

1258 South Tamiami Trail, on the main road through Osprey between Sarasota and Venice.
