View all FAQsHow do I get on the schedule for a class?
You book through their website at https://treeoflifepilates.com/schedule/. That is the only way to book, no phone reservations.
Is the first class really free, and how do I get it?
Yes, the first class is free. They call it a complimentary introductory class, and it is offered on Wednesdays and Saturdays at 1:00 PM. It introduces you to the equipment, Pilates principles, and the Tree of Life Method.
What is the difference between the three suites?
Suite 1 has 10 stations of traditional Pilates equipment like Reformers, Towers, Chairs, and Arc Barrels. Suite 2 has non-traditional gear like TRX, Springboards, Stability Balls, and heavy dumbbells, plus mat work. Suite 3 is for one-on-one training on full Joseph Pilates apparatus.
Are the mat classes heated?
They have studio mat classes, and they are offered both heated and non-heated. The schedule does not say which is which, so you will need to check the booking page for the specific class.
What does the $200 a month membership actually get me?
The $200 figure is just the starting point. Their annual membership, which they call the best value, is $320 a month for 16 sessions, so $20 a class. That requires a one-year commitment with auto-pay and auto-renewal. You can freeze it up to twice a year for a total of two months.
Is this classical Pilates or modern?
Both. They describe the studio as classical and clinical, and they blend classical principles with modern movement science. Their equipment is traditional, but they also use TRX and other modern tools in Suite 2.
