About Aer Pilates
Aer Pilates is a women-centered boutique studio in South Austin's St. Elmo District, offering semi-private reformer Pilates and aerial silks. It teaches mat, reformer, prenatal, private, and semi-private Pilates, plus aerial yoga. The studio builds a deep stabilizing Pilates foundation before aerial work, so it feels safe. Both, genuinely. Reformer Pilates and Aerial Silks run side by side, capped at four reformers and six silks for group classes. That is a semi private room by any measure, and the intro pass covers both so you can try each before choosing.
Who is the programming aimed at?
The studio describes itself as clinically informed and women centred, working around pregnancy and postpartum, peri and post menopause, hypermobility and pelvic floor health. Teachers take regular mentorship with the founder, Jenn, on clinical approaches. That is a description of how they train, not medical care.
What does a new client pay?
Two weeks unlimited for $99 plus a $4.29 processing fee, covering both the semi private reformer classes and the silks, starting from your first class.
Can I freeze a membership?
After three billing cycles, yes, for up to a month at a time with 14 days notice.
What are the late cancel fees?
The first one is waived for everybody. After that it is $15 if you give less than 12 hours notice.
What are the private rates?
$120 for a single reformer session, or intro packages at $299 for three reformer privates and $285 for three aerial silks privates.
Where should I park?
On the street along Battlebend Park. The studio warns that nearby lots tow, which is worth taking seriously in the St. Elmo District.
What do I wear for silks?
Fitted clothing and leggings that cover your legs, because bare skin against the fabric is uncomfortable at best.
