View all FAQsWho teaches here?
Amanda Marley, the owner, is a Supervising Instructor for the United States Pilates Association and a third generation teacher. David Freeman, a Principal Director of the USPA and a second generation teacher, also works out of this studio. That is an unusual concentration of lineage in one Fort Lauderdale room.
How cheap is the first class?
$10 for a first time trial class, against $45 for a standard drop in. That is close to giving it away and there is no reason not to take it.
What are the intro packages?
The Core Kickstart is three group classes for $50. The Personal Pilates Primer is three private lessons for $350 if you would rather start one to one.
Can I take a lesson remotely?
Yes, virtual Pilates lessons run over Zoom or FaceTime, which few classical studios kept going.
What does a membership cost?
From $135 a month, with unlimited at $265. A ten class pack is $415 and a semi private is $75.
What apparatus is used?
Tower, Reformer and Wunda Chair, taught as classical Pilates rather than a contemporary interpretation.
Is parking difficult?
At lunchtime yes. The studio notes the nearby lots are often full then, which on Las Olas Boulevard is not a surprise.
Can I train to teach?
Yes, and it is a USPA training centre running Basic, Intermediate and Advanced certification programmes.
