View all FAQsWhat does the $30 Intro Offer cover at The Fit In: Strong?
Only the price, $30, is published. One equipment class at the normal rate also costs $30, so ask how many classes the offer includes before paying.
Which single class price applies here: $15, $25 or $30?
All three are real, for different formats. Reformer and chair classes are $30, mat classes $25, and outdoor or virtual classes $15, which matches the website's single class rate.
Is The Fit In: Strong a strength gym or a Pilates studio?
Probably both. The name points to STRONG, the strength format built on kettlebells and TRX that sits alongside STRONGER and STRONG FUNDAMENTALS. Reformers, chairs and mats are also on site, which covers PILATES REFORMED, Pilates Chair and Pilates Mat. Barre, BEATS & BARRES and Stretch & Release appear on the wider Fit In schedule too, so check Mindbody for what the Marcus Garvey Blvd room is running on your day.
What does a late cancel or a late arrival cost?
Cancel inside 12 hours of the start and the class is forfeited along with an $8 fee. Skipping without cancelling costs the class plus $10, and arriving over 5 minutes late counts as skipping.
Why does the Marcus Garvey Blvd timetable stop and start through the day?
The studio opens in blocks rather than for one continuous day. Mornings wrap by 9am on weekdays, or 8:30am on Wednesday, the midday block ends between 12:45pm and 2:15pm, and Monday to Thursday evenings run until 9pm. Friday skips the evening and finishes at 1pm, Saturday covers 8am to 2pm, and Sunday 10am to 2pm.
Are the 30 day challenge packs worth buying?
Only if you can train most days. The 16 classes in 30 days pack is $320, or $20 a class, and the 20 classes version is $360, or $18. Each class you skip pushes the real price up.
What do I need to bring for STRONG or a reformer class?
Sneakers for STRONG and STRONGER, socks for reformer, chair or mat classes. Everything else is supplied.
Is there help with the cost if classes are a stretch?
Ask about The Fit In Wellness Collective, a 501(c)3 organization through which the studio supports scholarships and community programs. The studio's stated focus is access in historically underserved Brooklyn neighborhoods, so asking about cost is fair.
