View all FAQsIs this studio only for over 50s?
It is built for them. StudioFit 50+ caters specifically to the 50 and over population, with exercises modified for individuals rather than a general class scaled down. The owner has over seven years working with that age group and specialises in pre and post rehabilitation.
Do I need an assessment first?
Yes, a free 30 minute assessment with a trainer is required before your first small group session. The first session itself is then free, and there is a free one week pass on top.
What does it cost?
$160 a month per person for small group training or $220 per couple, or $390 and $630 respectively if you prepay three months. Unlimited classes and sessions are $140 a month.
What does personal training cost?
$720 for twelve 60 minute sessions across six weeks, or $960 for sixteen across eight weeks, both twice a week.
When do the group classes run?
Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 9:00 am and 10:00 am, each fifty minutes. That is a narrow window and it is worth checking against your own week before enquiring.
What does the studio focus on?
Total body fitness, brain training for neurocognitive health, and weight loss, aimed at strength, mobility, balance and body awareness for pain free movement.
What should I have with me?
Water and a towel for small group training. The studio has functional exercise equipment and cardio machines.
How do I book?
By phoning or texting the owner directly, or by email, rather than through a general booking platform.
