Frequently Asked Questions
View all FAQsIs the first class $20 at Studio Metamorphosis?
Yes, the intro offer is a first class for $20, and no other rate is published for this studio. Everything after that comes from the desk.
What happens if I show up without grip socks?
You buy a pair. Studio Metamorphosis keeps them at the desk, and the reformers here require them. Towel service and a water station are on site as well.
What can I actually book here?
Two things: group reformer classes and private pilates sessions, described on the site as reformer workouts built on strength, heart and intention. No rate card is published beyond the $20 first class, so pricing for packs, memberships and privates has to come from the studio directly. Call (718) 305-4001 or use the book now link on studiometamorphosis.com.
Why does Friday close earlier than the rest of the week?
Friday winds up at 6pm rather than the 8pm finish that holds Monday through Thursday. Weekends are morning only, 8am to 12pm, and weekday doors open at 6am.
Is Studio Metamorphosis in Brooklyn Heights or on Atlantic Avenue?
Both. It sits at 309 Atlantic Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11201, inside Brooklyn Heights.
How much notice does a cancellation need?
A cancellation window applies, but its length is not published, so check it when you book or ask on (718) 305-4001. The studio also asks people to arrive early.
How solid is the five star rating for Studio Metamorphosis?
It rests on 23 reviews, a small sample, so read what people say about Studio Metamorphosis rather than trusting the average.
