Frequently Asked Questions

View all FAQs
What is the difference between the Reform, Barre, Sculpt and PowHer classes?

Reform is the athletic Reformer class. Barre is low-impact work with light weights, Sculpt is mat Pilates with props, and PowHer runs circuits with heavier weights.

Should new clients start with the $49 offer or a class pack?

Start with the $49 offer, 2 weeks of unlimited classes, which beats paying $45 for one drop-in. Packs come later: 5 classes for $175, 10 for $275, 20 for $500.

Why does Sunday finish at 11:30am?

Sunday is the short day at Reformer Republic, a morning block only, while weekdays run 9am to 7pm. Saturday closes at 12pm, so a Sunday afternoon class does not exist.

Are grip socks required at Reformer Republic?

Required, not optional. Reformer Republic keeps pairs behind the desk for anyone who arrives without.

Is the unlimited membership worth $269 a month?

Only above 12 classes a month: the 12 classes tier is $229 and 8 classes is $179. Memberships renew every 30 days and carry a 3-month minimum.

Why are there two cancellation deadlines?

Because members and credit buyers sit on different terms. If you paid with class credits you need to cancel at least 12 hours ahead to avoid a fee, while members only need 8 hours. Check which one applies to you before you assume the shorter window works, because the fee lands either way. Both are managed in your account on the website or in the Reformer Republic app.

Is there an age minimum for classes?

Yes. Clients must be 20 years of age to register and take part, which rules out bringing a teenager along to a Reform class.

Is parking easy near the McKinney square?

Downtown McKinney has free all-day parking within walking distance, including two covered garages and 13 uncovered lots. Weekday street parking is free for 3 hours.
