Frequently Asked Questions
View all FAQsIs PURFIT ATHLETIC a Pilates studio or a gym that also has Pilates?
It is a fitness center first. Reformer is the Pilates equipment named for it, and the rest of the floor covers Zumba, Yoga, group cycling and muscle endurance training.
What does membership at PurFit Athletic cost?
One figure circulates: a Wellhub Basic Plan for PurFit Athletic starts at $37.99 per month. No drop in rate is published, so call (760) 610-7558 and ask.
Can I try the place before paying anything?
Yes. PurFit Athletic advertises a Free Trial Membership, and there are passes to try the facility and classes plus summer promotions that come and go. A separate deal gives a first month free on a 12-month membership at Pure Athletex, an affiliated site, so confirm which door that applies to before signing anything. The free trial is the cleaner starting point.
How early can I train on a weekday?
Doors open at 5am on weekdays and close at 10pm. Weekend hours are 7am to 8pm.
What does a 4 star rating from 219 reviews tell me?
219 reviews is a big enough sample to trust the shape of it, and 4 stars for a Palm Desert gym reads as solid rather than glowing.
Is the Reformer the only Pilates apparatus on the floor?
Reformer is the only Pilates apparatus recorded for PurFit Athletic, so plan on reformer work rather than a full apparatus room.
Where on Highway 111 will I find PurFit Athletic?
The address is 72840 CA-111, Palm Desert, CA 92260, out on the main highway strip. Parking, changing rooms, lockers, showers, a spa and Wi-Fi are all on the amenity list.
Does PurFit Athletic run anything aimed at older members?
Senior programming is one of the things PurFit pushes hardest, alongside its personal training. Ask at the desk which senior sessions run at which hours.
