View all FAQsHow do I book a class at Power Pilates Flatiron?
You book through Mindbody at https://clients.mindbodyonline.com/classic/ws, or you can call the front desk at (212) 627-5852. Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance to avoid fees.
What's the difference between the $99 and $199 memberships?
The $99 membership is a starting tier, while the $199 Studio Plus membership includes unlimited Mat, Tower, and Reformer classes at Flatiron. The $199 one also has a $99 enrollment fee. If you're planning to take more than a few classes a week, the Studio Plus is likely worth it.
Do they have childcare on site?
Yes, childcare is listed as an amenity, so you can bring your kids while you take a class. It's a practical option for parents in the area.
What equipment will I actually use in a class?
They have the full classical setup: Reformer, Tower, Cadillac, Wunda Chair, Chair, Barrel, and Mat. Most group classes use the Mat, Reformer, or Tower, but private sessions can use any of the apparatus.
Is there a way to try the studio without committing to a membership?
Yes, there are a few intro offers. You can get three private sessions for $169, or 5 group classes for $99, or the '123 Pilates Intro Offer' which includes 1 apparatus session, 2 Tower or Reformer classes, and 3 Mat classes for $123. If you're new to Pilates, the intro offer is a good way to sample different classes.
What should I bring to class?
They recommend bringing a mat, water bottle, and sweat towel. Lockers are available if you need to store your stuff, and there are showers and changing rooms if you're coming from work.
Are there any classes outside?
Yes, the Flatiron studio has an outdoor terrace where they hold small-group mat classes in the open air. That's a nice option when the weather cooperates.
