About Power Core Studio
Power Core Studio teaches the Lagree Method on the Megaformer in Piscataway, one of four New Jersey locations alongside Middletown, Freehold and Edison. Classes run 45 minutes and work slow, deliberate movements aimed at slow-twitch muscle fibres rather than the classical pilates repertoire. Group and private sessions are both on the timetable. Memberships start at $120 a month, unlimited is $210, and there is an intro offer at $38. The Piscataway location opened in September 2025.

Yes, and the studio says so outright. Power Core runs the Lagree Method on the Megaformer Pro, across four New Jersey locations. Lagree is slow, precise and balance oriented, and it is a genuinely different discipline from reformer Pilates even though the machines look related.
What happens if I am late?
The doors lock five minutes after the class starts. Later than that and you forfeit the class, or pay a $25 no show fee if you are on an unlimited package. The studio's reason is that Lagree demands concentration and a late arrival disrupts everybody.
How many minutes is a Lagree class?
Forty five minutes, every single class, on the Megaformer Pro at all four New Jersey studios.
What do the memberships cost?
From $120 a month at the entry tier and $210 for unlimited, with a $38 introductory offer.
How does the waitlist work?
You are moved into a class up to 12 hours before it starts and notified by email. Inside that window a last minute space works differently, so check rather than assuming you are in.
What notice does a cancellation need?
Twelve hours on every class. A no show or late cancel forfeits the class, or costs $25 if you hold an unlimited package.
Can I take my phone to the machine?
Only under conditions the studio sets, and nothing goes in the well of the carriage. Cubbies are provided for personal items.
How often should I come?
About three classes a week is what the studio recommends, adjusted around your other training and your rest days.
