What does the $199 intro package include?
4 private 55-minute lessons, one per new student, expiring 30 days from purchase. Worth it only if your month is clear enough to use all four, because the countdown starts the day you pay, not the day of your first lesson.
Which of the two posted schedules is right?
Two schedules circulate for Om Sweet Om and they do not match. The first opens at 7:30am Monday through Thursday and runs to 8:30pm, with Friday closing at 3pm and Saturday at 9am to 12pm. The second starts weekdays at 8:30am, ends Friday at 12pm, and puts Saturday at 11:30am to 12:30pm. Call (909) 493-8622 before planning an early or late session.
What is Gyrotonic and how is it taught at Om Sweet Om?
Gyrotonic® here means 55-minute private sessions on Pulley Towers and a Leg Extension Unit, circular movement rather than linear Reformer work. Om Sweet Om calls itself Upland's only studio teaching both.
How small are the group equipment classes?
Group equipment classes cap at 5 to 6 students, each Reformer a minimum of 6 feet apart, and run 50 minutes. Semi private takes 2 people, a trio 3 people.
Is STOTT Pilates different from classical Pilates?
The studio describes STOTT Pilates® as an anatomically based update using spring resistance and pulleys. Sessions in Upland run on Reformers, Towers, Cadillac, Chairs and Barrels.
How much notice does a cancellation need?
24 hours on private, semi private and group sessions, 48 hours around holidays. Late cancellations pay the full fee at Om Sweet Om.
