View all FAQsIs Mint Pilates its own space or part of Arrive Studio?
Both, in a sense. Mint Pilates and Wellness is hosted inside Arrive Studio, a wellness space on the 2nd floor at 129 W 29th St in Chelsea, so the door you walk to is Arrive's.
What happens when you turn up for a first session?
Check in twice. At the building front desk on West 29th Street you say you are there for Mint Pilates hosted by Arrive Studio, then check in again at the Arrive Studio front desk on an iPad. First timers get a quick tour of the space from the desk staff, and the instructor comes out to meet you there, so you are not hunting for a room.
What does the New Client Special cost?
$160 for the New Client Special is the one published figure, and nothing else is posted, so ask through the Calendly page. Note the 5 star rating rests on 6 reviews, a thin sample for a $160 commitment.
How long is a session and who teaches it?
Sessions run in 50-minute blocks with Inez Galvez, who founded Mint, and they blend Classical and Contemporary Pilates. It is appointment only, so there is no timetable to scan.
Can I do this from home?
Yes. Sessions are offered virtually as well as in person, and a suggested prop list is sent once you book, so sort your kit before the call.
Why does Tuesday stop so early?
Thursday runs latest, to 8pm. Monday closes at 7pm, Tuesday and Wednesday at 6pm, and Friday wraps up at 3pm. Weekends start at 10am, with Saturday going to 3pm and Sunday to 2pm. Everything is by appointment, so what Inez has free matters more than the window itself.
Is Pilates all Mint offers?
No. Pilates is the core, but Myofascial Release, Reiki Energy Healing and Health Coaching are offered too, all through Inez rather than a wider team.
Is there anything I have to bring?
Comfortable clothing you can move in, and grip socks are a must. Water is optional.
