What is in a mat Pilates class here?
Bala weights, the ankle and wrist kind, plus whatever comes off the prop wall: rings, bands, blocks and weights. It is mat work with load added rather than bodyweight alone, and it runs in the same infrared heat as the yoga unless the class is marked otherwise. If you have done mat Pilates in a cool room, expect this to feel considerably harder for the same movements.
