View all FAQsWhat does the $59 new student offer cover?
2 weeks of unlimited classes for new students, with no commitment attached. Enough time to try hot yoga, mat pilates and sculpt before deciding which one you keep coming back for.
Why does paying by card cost more?
Prices shown are the cash price, and a 3.9% processing fee lands on every card transaction. Small, but worth knowing before you compare it with anywhere else in Newburgh.
What happens if I book a class and then do not turn up?
Late cancels and no-shows are charged $10, and that applies whether or not you hold a membership. The wording circulating about the window says cancellations must be made within two hours of class time, which reads backwards, so ask at the desk whether they mean two hours before. Either way, cancel early rather than late.
What happens if I arrive after class has started?
Once the doors are locked nobody else comes in, so get to Chambers St early.
Why does Saturday finish so early?
Saturday wraps at 11:30am while weeknights run late, Monday and Wednesday to 9pm. Sunday is 8am to 2pm. The site publishes a slightly different weekday span, so check Glofox before driving over.
When does the 200-hour teacher training run?
January through May each year, with lead trainers holding E-RYT 500 certification. Admissions open September 1st and there is an information meeting on August 30th at 2pm, so plan the decision well ahead of the start.
What if I show up without a mat?
Mat rental is available, and non-slip hot yoga mats are sold in the studio. Bring a towel to sweat on. The tea bar and stocked fridge handle the rest.
What styles are on the Meltdown Yoga schedule?
Hot vinyasa, sculpt, yogalates, ashtanga, yin, power and Skills & Drills, plus mat pilates, hot pilates and restorative. Traditional Ashtanga sits alongside Open Studio in the Mysore style, and Meltdown says it runs the area's first bilingual yoga class.
