No. The Intro Special, three fifty minute private lessons for $225, is required before you can take an Old School Lesson. That is a real barrier to entry and a deliberate one: classical Pilates on a full apparatus set is not something you pick up by watching the person next to you.
What are Old School Lessons?
Small group sessions for up to five people, $38 for a single, $165 for five with two months to use them, and $305 for ten with three months.
What apparatus does the room hold?
Classical apparatus from Contrology, Gratz, Pilates Designs and Legacy: mat, reformer, tower, Cadillac trapeze, Wunda, arm and high chairs, spine corrector, small and ladder barrels, and a ped-o-pul. Very few studios anywhere hold that full a set.
Is there a cheaper way to look round?
An Exploratory Private Lesson at $80 for fifty minutes, aimed at people who are curious rather than committed.
What do private lessons cost?
$90 for one with a month to use it, $435 for five over three months, and $870 for ten over six.
What do I need to do before the first session?
Fill out a client health questionnaire and the waiver and policies. Nothing starts until those are in.
What is the cancellation notice?
Twenty four hours. Miss that and you are charged for the lesson.
When are the doors open?
Two published versions differ on the evenings. Monday, Wednesday and Friday run 8am to 2:30pm on both. Tuesday and Thursday are given as finishing at either 6pm or 7pm, and Saturday appears as closed in one and by enquiry in the other.
