View all FAQsIs this the Grand Street room or the Washington Street one?
This page covers the private one to one room on Grand Street, which is by appointment. Group classes run at the Washington Street address instead, and Ken Pilates has a Chelsea site due in September 2026. Call (201) 690-2565 if you are unsure which door you want.
Can I just turn up between 6am and 9pm?
The bookable window runs 6am to 9pm every day, but nothing here is drop-in: Grand Street is one to one by appointment, so those hours describe when a slot can exist rather than when a class starts. The group room on Washington Street keeps its own timetable, opening 5:30am Monday through Thursday, closing 9:30pm, and starting later on Sunday at 7:30am.
Is the first private session really half price?
Yes, first timers pay $62.50 instead of $125, and that session includes a movement assessment and an introduction to the apparatus. It is the sensible way in.
Which pack of private sessions is the better buy?
A 5-pack is $575 and a 10-pack is $1000, against $125 for a single. The 10-pack carries the deeper saving but it is real money up front, so commit to it only once the first few appointments have proved the schedule works for you.
Is there really a parking lot at Grand Street?
Two answers circulate. A parking lot appears in their own description, while the visitor guidance says Hoboken has no dedicated on-site parking and points to metered street spots at $0.25 per 15 minutes during the day, payable by coin, card or ParkMobile. Plan for the meter and be pleasantly surprised.
What should I sort out before a first appointment?
Bring grip socks, which are required for private work and sold on site if you forget, and bring water. A liability waiver gets signed before the first session, so arriving 10 minutes early clears the paperwork and the equipment tour.
Does a duet session beat booking two separate privates?
A duet is $150 for 50 minutes against $125 for a single private, so splitting it with a partner lands well under two individual bookings. It only works if you both keep the same slot week to week.
Can I book a private through ClassPass?
Select group classes sit on ClassPass, but privates book direct through Momence or the Ken Pilates app.
