About JUST PILATES
JUST PILATES is a pilates studio in Upper West Side, NY, teaching mat pilates and vinyasa yoga. The studio's background draws on the history of Joe Pilates, who studied body-building, yoga, and gymnastics, and improved his health enough by age 14 to pose for anatomical charts. Born in 1880 in Germany, he died in 1967 from smoke inhalation after a fire in his studio, and his wife Clara ran the studio until her death in 1977.
