View all FAQsWhy do I keep seeing two different single class prices?
Because there are two disciplines. A single Reformer class is listed at $45 and a single Gyrotonic class at $55, and the $55 rate is the one that shows up on the studio's pricing block. Check which one you are booking before you pay.
Can I book a private session online, or do I have to call?
Group classes go through Mindbody. Private lessons, duets, trios and bodywork are arranged by phone on (831) 247-5488, so the online schedule will not show them.
Do the class packs expire?
Yes, one year from purchase, and they are non-refundable. A 3 class Reformer pack is $125 and a 5 pack is $180, so buy the size you will realistically use inside twelve months.
What does a private session cost if I want less than a full hour?
A 60 minute private is $105, a 45 minute is $70 and a 30 minute is $55. The shorter sessions are the cheapest way in if you want one on one work without the full hour price.
Is Gyrotonic just a different name for Pilates?
No. Gyrotonic uses its own machine, the Ultima XS, and works in circular flowing patterns rather than the straight planes of Reformer work. The studio teaches both under one roof, which is rarer than it sounds, and the owner Rochelle Gingras holds three separate Pilates certifications, BASI, Balanced Body and Embody, alongside advanced Gyrotonic credentials. Massage and craniosacral work are on the same menu if you want recovery rather than training.
What else is on the equipment floor besides Reformers?
Cadillac, Wunda Chair, Barrel, Springboard, Jumpboard and mats, plus small props like magic circles, rotator disks and an Oov.
Do I need to reserve, or can I turn up?
Every class and appointment needs a reservation, privates included, so nothing here works as a walk in.
