Are mat classes included in membership?
Yes, Pilates Mat classes are free for GHF members. The equipment classes are the ones you pay extra for.
What Pilates classes are on the schedule?
Foundations, Reformer, Tower Circuit, Tower and Reformer combined, Chair, Chair Fusion, Suspension Circuit and Mat. A wider list than most gyms bother with.
Is there a free introduction?
New clients get a free 30-minute private session to learn the reformer under instructor guidance. That is the right way in.
What does a private cost?
A special runs one 50-minute session at $45, saving up to $35. The regular single private sits between $60 and $80.
What is the late cancellation fee?
$15, on a 12-hour cancellation policy that applies to every Pilates class at GHF.
What should I wear for a Pilates class here?
Fitted workout pants and a comfortable exercise top. Shoes are not needed, though some clients prefer toe socks with grip, sold at the club.
Is the gym really open 24 hours?
The club is, seven days a week, though that is the gym floor rather than the Pilates timetable, which runs on scheduled classes. Pilates lives in a dedicated studio kitted out with Reformer machines, a Cadillac, Tower, Chair and suspension straps, at both the Main and Tioga locations. Classes book through a Mindbody account on the GHF site. Privates and semi privates get scheduled during a consultation or directly with the instructor.
