View all FAQsWhy is there a gap in the afternoon?
Monday through Thursday the studio opens at 6am, closes at 1pm and reopens in the afternoon for a short evening block ending at 6pm or 6:30pm. Friday is straight through to 2pm. That evening block is only two or three hours long, which makes after work classes scarce here.
How much for one session?
$39 at Granite Bay, which sits in the middle of what Club Pilates studios charge across the country.
Is 4.2 a concern?
It is below the chain norm, but on 13 reviews it is a thin sample. Granite Bay has not been rated by enough people for the score to mean much either way. Take the free intro and form your own view.
Is the weekend any longer?
No. Saturday and Sunday both run 8am to 1pm, five hours each, which is shorter than a Granite Bay weekday even with the afternoon gap.
How many class types are there?
Eight across four levels, with the signature contemporary reformer class moving between the reformer, springboard, EXO-Chair, barre and TRX in a single session.
What else is in the studio?
Bosu, Magic Circle, a Cadillac and barrels including a spine corrector and ladder barrel, beyond the standard reformer setup.
What should I turn up in?
Breathable fitted clothing and grip socks. Socks are required and sold at the studio.
What do I do on a first visit?
Turn up a quarter of an hour before the free intro class. That covers the waiver, a walk round the room and enough time for somebody to set a reformer to your height.
