Frequently Asked Questions
View all FAQsCan I turn up without booking?
Yes. Advance registration and online payment are recommended but not required, and you can simply arrive about ten minutes before class to register and pay at the door. Very few studios still allow that, and in a small town it is the difference between a spontaneous class and no class at all.
How late can I arrive?
The class closes five minutes after the start time, so the ten minute buffer matters. Arrive five to ten minutes early.
What is the introductory offer?
Two weeks of unlimited classes for $55, available to new students only at the Elgin studio.
What is cYoga?
A class that always includes inversions, sitting alongside Flow, the beginner friendly Slow Stretch, and Restorative on the timetable. Pilates mat classes run too.
Do I need to bring equipment?
No. Mats, blocks, straps and blankets are all available to borrow, and water, mats and towels are sold if you want your own.
What is the parking like?
Free street parking around the studio, which sits between the Off the Rails ice cream shop and the LoFi Coffee House on North Main Street.
Can I book the studio privately?
Yes, private bookings and special events covering yoga, Pilates mat, chair yoga, meditation, mindfulness, breathwork and sound baths.
Is there an instructor programme?
Yes, a 200 hour yoga teacher training programme runs out of the Elgin studio.
