I heard the first class is free. Is that for real?
Yes, the first class is free for in-studio classes. Just book it online and show up. They also encourage first-timers to start with the Beginner Mixer class to learn the equipment and basics.
What are the membership tiers and what do they include?
They have three EFT memberships: 4 credits for $150/month, 8 credits for $229/month, and unlimited in-studio for $289/month. The credits are per month, so if you go twice a week, the 8-credit plan is the sweet spot.
Do they provide mats and towels, or do I need to bring my own?
They provide equipment and towels for all classes, so you don't need to bring a mat. They have mats, reformers, bands, weights, and more. Just show up and they'll set you up.
What kind of equipment will I actually use in a class?
It depends on the class. Empowered Pulse uses overhead resistance bands and 3lb weights, with optional plyo box moves. Empowered Sculpt uses heavier weights, dumbbells, bands, gliders, boxes, mats, and yoga blocks. Empowered Tone uses bands, light weights, gliders, foam rollers, and bodyweight. Lengthen/Reform uses reformer-style resistance. So you'll get a mix of reformer-like resistance, bands, weights, and props.
What's the cancellation policy if I can't make a class?
They have a 6-hour cancellation policy. If you cancel late, you lose the class credit or get charged. For waitlisted classes, you have to purchase a credit upfront, but it's returned if you don't get in.
