Frankford Ave in Fishtown. Street parking runs along Frankford, Front, Thompson and Master, with a 3-hour limit west of Frankford and 2-hour east. A self pay lot sits about 2 blocks away on Front Street.
Can I get there without a car?
Yes, easily. The studio is a block and a half from the Girard stop on the Market and Frankford El, and the 15 trolley and 25 bus stop outside.
What do I need to bring to a hot yoga class?
More than for a regular class. A grippy mat or full length mat towel, a hand towel, at least 32 oz of water, fitted moisture wicking clothing, dry clothes to change into and a bag for the wet gear. Mats and towels rent at the studio.
What should I wear for aerial yoga?
Form fitting athletic clothing with no zippers or sharp accessories, and remove jewelry before class. Bring a water bottle.
Is there a discount for seniors or military?
Yes, 15% off for seniors and active military. It covers group class drop ins, experience drop ins, single month unlimited and 10-class cards.
Is there a way to try Amrita before paying?
There is a one week free trial, but read what it covers. It is the virtual library, unlimited live stream and on demand, not the studio floor. For a first visit in person you pay the $10 drop in. Worth knowing the room only opens 20 minutes before a class and closes 20 minutes after, so there is no hanging about.
