Frequently Asked Questions
View all FAQsWhat styles are on the schedule?
An unusually wide spread: Bikram and hot yoga, hot Pilates, vinyasa, yin and aerial yoga. Carrying the fixed Bikram sequence, aerial rigging and hot Pilates in one studio is rare, and it means the class name tells you far more than the studio name does.
What is the intro offer?
Two weeks of unlimited classes for $89 at the Manhattan Avenue studio at the Greenpoint studio.
How long are the days?
6:15am to 9:30pm Monday through Thursday, over fifteen hours, with Friday closing at 8pm at the Greenpoint studio.
Is there somewhere to wash after class?
Yes, YO BK keeps showers on site, which in Greenpoint matters given how much of the timetable runs hot.
What do the reviews show?
4.5 from 91 reviews in Greenpoint, a fair average on a substantial sample, so worth reading a few.
What happens at weekends?
Saturday 8:15am to 6pm and Sunday 8:15am to 7pm, both running late into the day at the Greenpoint studio.
Does YO BK certify teachers?
YO BK trains teachers out of Greenpoint alongside its public schedule, on the same heated floor the classes use.
Which part of Brooklyn is it in?
607 Manhattan Avenue, on the main commercial street through Greenpoint in North Brooklyn.
