View all FAQsI'm new to UPLIFT. What's the cheapest way to try a bunch of classes before committing?
They have a New Student Intro Offer: 2 weeks of unlimited classes for $59. If you're just starting out, that's a better deal than paying $34 for a single drop-in class.
How do I get on the schedule? Do I need to call or can I book online?
You can book online through their Mindbody page at https://clients.mindbodyonline.com/classic/ws, or use the UPLIFT app for iPhone and Android. Their phone number is (916) 714-9642 if you need help.
I've never done Pilates before. Is there a class that won't kick my butt?
Their UINFERNO Hot Pilates is all levels, but it's high-intensity interval training based on Pilates principles. If you want something gentler, try USLOWSTRETCH, which is slow-paced and accessible for all levels. No experience needed.
Do they have showers and lockers, or should I plan to go home sweaty?
They have showers, lockers, bathrooms, and a water refill station. You can rent a shower towel for $3 if you don't want to bring one.
What happens if I book a class and then can't make it?
You need to cancel or reschedule at least 2 hours before class, or you'll be charged a $15 late cancellation or no-show fee. Also, plan to arrive at least 15 minutes early, because late arrivals aren't allowed.
I'm thinking about a membership. Is the unlimited one really unlimited?
Yes, the unlimited membership is $145 a month and auto-renews. If you pay upfront, 6 months costs $780 and a year costs $1440. They also have a basic membership from $120 a month.
Do I need to bring my own mat and towel, or can I rent them?
You can rent mats, towels, and shower towels for $3 each. They also sell bottled water, food bars, and electrolytes if you forget those. What to bring: water bottle, yoga mat, yoga towel, fitted and flexible light clothing, friends, and good vibes.
