View all FAQsWhat is the Peek into Pilates class?
A $10, 30 minute taster that runs every Thursday at 10:50 am. It is the cheapest way to see the Gadsden Street space, and like any first visit here it needs the liability waiver signed first.
Is there a published rate beyond the $10 taster?
None beyond the $10 Peek into Pilates. No other rates are published, so call (850) 820-2747 before you plan a package around a guess.
What is the difference between an Equipment Class and a Mat Class?
Equipment Classes use the Reformer, Tower or Chair, or a combination of them. Mat Classes are held outdoors in a private courtyard when the Pensacola weather allows, so check the forecast.
How new is The Gadsden Studio?
It opened in November 2025, which is worth holding in mind when you read the reviews. The rating is 5 from 13 reviews, a genuinely small sample, so treat it as an early signal rather than a settled reputation. The owner, Arielle Langhorne, is a longtime Pensacola photographer who built a hybrid space for both of her passions, and she is fully certified through the Balanced Body program.
How many machines does the studio run?
5 Reformers, 5 Towers and 5 Chairs, which is why the Equipment Classes stay small and intimate. A Jumpboard and Cadillac are on site too.
What if I forget my grip socks?
Buy a pair at the studio. Grip socks are required, and they sell them for exactly this.
What happens if I cancel late or miss a class?
Cancel at least 24 hours ahead and nothing is charged. Inside that window you pay the class fee, and a no-show adds a small extra charge.
Who teaches at The Gadsden Studio?
Jessica Wade, a Balanced Body Master Trainer with over 20 years of teaching behind her, teaches here, and owner Arielle Langhorne is fully certified through Balanced Body as well. No experience needed, and the Pilates Foundations: Precision on the Apparatus class covers fundamentals for all levels.
