Frequently Asked Questions
View all FAQsIs Studio 6 Fitness Preston Hollow in Addison or Dallas?
Dallas. It sometimes gets filed under Addison, but the street address is 11909 Preston Rd #1412, Dallas, TX 75230, so put that into your maps app rather than searching Addison. Look for the Preston Forest Shopping Center on the northwest corner of Preston Road and Forest Lane; the studio is next door to Mathnasium and Capelli Salon, with parking in the center.
What happens in an S6 Pilates+ class at Preston Hollow?
A full-body Pilates workout with strength training folded in, done on a proprietary machine rather than a traditional reformer. Plan on 50 minutes and 20 to 25 high-intensity, low-impact movements. Private instruction is offered too.
How late does Preston Hollow stay open on weeknights?
Until 7:30pm Monday to Thursday, after a 6am start. Friday also opens at 6am but finishes at 5:30pm. Saturday is the short day, 8am to 1pm, and Sunday starts later at 9am and runs to 4:30pm.
How do I get Preston Hollow prices?
Ask the studio directly. Membership and class pack prices are not posted, so call (972) 239-2626 or email, and read the First Timer page on the website, which may point to newcomer pricing.
Which class at Preston Hollow is lighter on intensity?
S6 Lite Pilates, which runs at a lighter intensity for newcomers and anyone coming back after an injury. S6 Deep Stretch is different again: the studio pitches it at tight hips, hamstrings, calves and shoulders.
What do I need for a first class at Preston Hollow?
Grip socks, a towel and a water bottle, plus an arrival at least 10 minutes early for check-in and the waiver. The desk sells socks if you forget them, fountains and bottled water are on hand, and baggy clothes are a bad idea around the springs.
Is this the same Studio 6 as the Park Lane one?
No. Preston Hollow is its own studio, one of four Studio 6 Fitness locations in DFW alongside Park Lane, Lakewood and Plano, all under one independent Dallas-based brand.
How meaningful is the 4.9 for Preston Hollow?
Fairly. A 4.9 across 122 Google reviews is a decent sample for a single Preston Hollow studio.
