View all FAQsCan I book a group class on my first visit?
No. Every first time visitor has to take the Get Ready Get Real group class or a one to one private before any apparatus based group class. That is a firm rule and it exists because classical apparatus work is not something to learn by copying the person beside you.
What does the intro cost?
$40 for the intro class, and it comes with a free group class credit attached, so the first visit effectively buys two.
What apparatus is in the studio?
Authentic Gratz throughout: barrels, Cadillac, reformer, tower, Wunda chair, spine corrector and a Ped-O-Pull. Gratz is the equipment built to Joseph Pilates' own specifications.
How far ahead do I book a private?
It depends on the hour. Privates, duets and semi privates at 7am, 8am or 9am need booking 12 hours ahead. Anything from 10am onward can be booked up to 2 hours before it starts.
When am I charged?
At the time of booking for group classes and privates, and a card has to be saved to your account before you can schedule anything. Standing sessions left unpaid are charged the evening before.
Can I walk in?
For group classes, yes, and they can be booked at any time. Privates cannot.
What is the weekly timetable?
7am starts every weekday, closing at 8pm Monday through Wednesday, 7pm Thursday and 4pm Friday. Weekends run 9am to 3pm.
Is there a footwear requirement?
Grip socks at all times in the studios, on the Duane Street floor and everywhere else, and they are sold on site if you arrive without.
