What does the studio mean by the purest form of Pilates?
The studio says it teaches the method as Joseph Pilates and Romana Kryzanowska delivered it, and calls that the purest form. It also says it owns every piece of original Pilates equipment, from the 5-inch apparatus up to the 10-foot-tall Tower or Guillotine. In practice, private sessions move between machines such as the Tower and Cadillac, while group classes stay on the mat.
