Frequently Asked Questions
View all FAQsWhy is a drop in $55?
That is the summer special rate, and it is high because the classes are small and the model is closer to a private studio than a group one. Seasonal pricing on a barrier island is normal, so ask what the winter rate is before assuming.
When is the studio open?
8am to 3pm Monday through Friday. Saturday is three hours in the middle of the day, finishing at 3pm, and Sunday is closed. There is no early class and no evening class at all.
What kinds of session are offered?
Private Pilates, duets, personal training, small group classes and what the studio calls rehab support, which means work around an existing issue rather than treatment.
What should I put on?
Socks are required for every Pilates session, ideally with grips, and the studio sells them if you arrive without.
Is there a cancellation policy?
Yes, and the studio is direct about why: session times are in demand and the instructor has blocked the slot. Notice is expected.
How do I find the studio?
5360 Gulf of Mexico Drive, Suite 108, on Longboat Key, which is the main road running the length of the island.
What does the review score mean here?
5.0 from 6 reviews, which is far too small a sample to conclude anything. Judge it by a session.
Is there reformer work?
Yes, reformer and mat both, in privates and in the small group classes.
