View all FAQsHow do I book a class at the Port Orange Orangetheory?
You can book online at their booking page, through the Orangetheory app, or by calling (386) 492-0544. The website link is on their listing.
Is the first class really free?
Yes, first-time visitors aged 18 and older get a free class. Minors 14 and up can also take it if special conditions are met. There's also a free week of unlimited workouts for local non-members valid from August 1 to September 30, 2026.
What does a class cost if I don't want a membership?
A single drop-in is $28. If you plan to go a few times, class packs are cheaper: 10 sessions for $239, 20 for $409, 30 for $549. Memberships run $69 to $169 per month depending on how many classes you want.
Do I need to bring my own heart-rate monitor?
First-timers can borrow one, but members are usually asked to buy their own OTF monitor. The workout is based on heart-rate zones, so you'll want one.
What should I wear and bring?
Bring a water bottle and a towel. Wear lightweight sneakers and athletic clothes, like a loose tank and shorts or leggings. They have mats on site, so you don't need to bring one.
What's the workout actually like?
It's a 60-minute coach-led class mixing cardio, rowing, and strength training. You'll use treadmills, rowers, TRX straps, free weights, and more. The goal is to hit the orange zone (84-91% of max heart rate) for 12+ minutes to get an afterburn effect.
How early should I arrive for my first class?
Plan to arrive 30 minutes early. You'll discuss your fitness goals, get set up with a heart-rate monitor, complete forms, and meet the coach.
