Both weekend days close at 12:30pm, as does Friday. Monday through Thursday run 7am to 6:30pm. In a resort town that timetable is built around people who are on holiday in the morning rather than working around a job.
Is footwear specified?
No. Classes are barefoot encouraged and socks are completely optional, which is unusual for a reformer studio and one of the few genuinely relaxed rules this chain has.
What does the membership cost?
$199 a month for unlimited, with Foundation at $180 a month for five classes. Given how close those two numbers are, unlimited is the obvious pick if you are here for a season.
Is there one class or several?
One. The studio deliberately does not split by level: ABS ARMS ASS runs 45 minutes, music driven, with modifications and progressions inside it rather than separate beginner and advanced sessions.
What if I leave for the winter?
Monthly memberships include one free 14 day hold each calendar year, which in a seasonal town is not much. Annual unlimited memberships get no hold at all, so a Montauk winter means either paying through it or cancelling.
How far ahead should I book?
Three to five days for a peak slot. In Montauk during the season that is not conservative advice.
What happens to classes I do not use?
They vanish at the end of the month at Montauk. Nothing carries into the next one, and nothing is refunded or transferred to somebody else.
Am I tied in for a season?
