View all FAQsHow do I book a class at Natomas Yoga Studio?
You book through their member portal at https://natomas.yoga/#schedule. Booking is required to attend any class.
Do I need to bring my own mat and towel, or can I rent them?
You do not need to bring anything. Mat and towel rentals are available at the front desk, and you can also purchase them. Most regulars eventually bring their own, but everything you need for your first class is at the studio.
What is the best class for a beginner?
Every class welcomes beginners, but the studio recommends starting with Original Hot Yoga 26+2. It is the same 26 postures every class, so your body learns the practice, and teachers walk new students through what to expect before class.
How hot are the rooms, and is it the same for every class?
Most classes, including Original Hot Yoga 26+2, Hot Vinyasa, Hot Pilates, and Advanced Silent Hot Yoga, are held at 105°F with 45% humidity. Hot 100 and Yin Yoga are in a gentler 100°F room, and Yin has no humidity.
Is there parking, and what else is on site?
Yes, there is a lot of private parking at 3270 Arena Blvd, and the studio is wheelchair accessible. On site you will find custom-tiled showers, mat and towel rentals, and weights for Hot Pilates and Hot 100.
What is Hot Pilates, and do I need to bring weights?
Hot Pilates is a low-impact, high-intensity class focusing on core, glutes, and arms, with the heat intensifying the workout. Weights are available at the studio, so you just need to come hydrated and bring a mat, large towel, and water.
How long has the studio been open, and who owns it?
Natomas Yoga Studio opened in 2012 and has served the Natomas neighborhood for over a decade. It is independently owned by founder Leanna Ketelsen, who has over 22 years of experience in the field.
