View all FAQsWhat does Midsection Connection charge for a class?
No price is published, so call (610) 574-6037 before you plan around a figure. The studio describes itself as accessible and affordable, but that is its own wording, not a number you can budget against.
Is there a Wunda Chair at Midsection Connection?
Yes, and the rest of the classical apparatus with it: Reformer, Wunda Chair, Chair, Barrel and Mat. Chair and barrel work is what separates a classical room from a reformer-only one.
Does the studio teach classical Pilates?
Yes. Classical pilates runs alongside reformer and chair work, and private and semi private sessions are offered too.
Can I train as an instructor there?
Midsection Connection runs a teacher training programme, so the classical work is taught there and not only sold by the class. Dates are not posted, so call (610) 574-6037.
Can I get a 7am class on a Sunday?
Posted hours are 7am to 8pm every day, Sunday included, which is a long window for a Philadelphia pilates studio and useful if your schedule moves week to week. Those are the hours the studio keeps, not a promise that a class starts at 7am or at 8pm, so pull up the Momence calendar for the day you want before you build a morning around it.
How much weight should I give the 5 star rating?
Better than most: 103 reviews is a real sample and Midsection Connection has held a 5 star average across it. Google reviews still skew positive, so read a few.
Is booking on Momence or the studio site?
Momence handles bookings for Midsection Connection on Brandywine St, so make the account there first.
Is this a good studio for a beginner?
Practitioners of all levels is the stated pitch, and private or semi private sessions are the practical way in if a group reformer class feels like a lot.
