Frequently Asked Questions

View all FAQs
Can I fit a session in before work at Hell's Kitchen Pilates?

Yes. From Monday through Friday the doors open at 6:30am and the day ends at 8pm. Weekends are a short morning window, starting 9am and finished by 1pm.

What is Joe's Gym at Hell's Kitchen Pilates?

Joe's Gym is the studio's self-guided membership. After a complimentary orientation you train on your own at 411 W 44th St, with access to the Reformers, Towers, Chairs and MELT tools and no instructor running the hour. Members also get a 50% discount on regularly scheduled mat classes, so it suits someone who already knows their repertoire but still wants coached mat work now and then.

Does Hell's Kitchen Pilates publish its class prices?

No rates for this studio are published. Call (347) 213-0844 before buying. A $40 group class figure seen online belongs to Plaza Pilates in Manhattan Plaza, a different business.

How late can I cancel, and can I still grab a same-day spot?

Cancel at least 24 hours ahead or pay the full session fee. Classes with nobody booked close 12 hours before start, but phoning (347) 213-0844 can still work same day.

What is MAMA's Pilates in Hell's Kitchen?

A 50-minute circuit-style class for perinatal bodies that mixes weights, cardio and stretching. The studio asks for a doctor's note clearing you for exercise.

Where should a complete beginner start at Hell's Kitchen Pilates?

The studio suggests a private session first, to learn the equipment. Otherwise the Reformer Class or a Mat Class works, bookable 21 days in advance online.

Are grippy socks needed for mat classes too?

Two wordings exist: the studio's own FAQ requires them for Reformer classes, another description says all classes. Wear them regardless, and Hell's Kitchen Pilates sells pairs.

Is there parking near West 44th Street?

Hell's Kitchen Pilates has no on-site parking. The nearest garage is 369 West 49th Street.
